T.G.I. Launch Day
In this visual novel, you are an employee at a fictional cyber-security company Nerikos alongside friends Jerry, Mina, and Lake.
My co-writer and I created two narratives from this starting premise to fulfill the needs of the research team - one story is a high stakes hacker-thriller, the other a low stakes office sitcom. Players were randomly assigned which version of the story they played, and made to complete research tasks that were built into the visual novel's game mechanics. I also wrote branching dialogue to keep players engaged as they completed these tasks. Made in Unity.

Cross the Heart - A 7th Sea Adventure
For the course, students were broken up into teams, who then combined an existing RPG rule system and an existing intellectual property to craft a story. My team combined the action-driven 7th Sea system with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise into a story titled “Cross the Heart.” For our final story bible, I wrote the introduction that would introduce the Game Master to the adventure, which included necessary background information to the setting, a How-to-Read section for the document, an adventure synopsis, and the starting missions/locations for the adventure.
